Vases are made in Porcelain and Stoneware. The large sizes are always Stoneware, as Stoneware is easier to throw and shape on the Potters wheel. All vases are hand thrown and no two are exactly alike.

Porcelain is more durable. It also gives a white background, which is good for some glazes. Stoneware is used for more rustic effects. Stoneware pots are always speckled (with Iron) that is inherent in the clay itself. (See below)

Vases come in "Tall" and "Ginger Jar" shapes. Some, "one of a kind," are always available in the shop showroom for local Snohomish customers.
